indeed i have been gone for 8 months and it has been pretty sweet. not to say i dont miss you guys because i do a ton! but i have learned a lot out here in these past months. this week was a hard week for me to be motivated at first. i feel like we are just doing the same thing over and over with lessons and people. but i had some experiences that helped me get re focused
during the week we had a decent time teaching but i struggled to really feel the spirit when we taught but now were doing better.
saturday we went to eat with a family of less actives and one of the sons who is twenty two had a baptism date set for sunday (yesterday) and his mom came in and said guess what the shameless did now. he went and got drunk last night. i was super sad because this week we had awesome lessons with him and i felt like he was really ready. but i think it helped me because i realized that to get the baptism we should work hardest in the end. since then i have been working hard and things are going great. but we have to post pone the baptism for two weeks.but after that it was just one of those days when if it could go wrong it did almost all of our lessons fell through and . when we finished the day i sat back and just sighed because i was stressed.
sunday- then came sunday and to start the day off we had some investigators come to church for the first time. i was sooo happy. the investigator that got drunk also came to church and it was good to see he still wanted to progress. and in sacrament meeting we had an unreal testimony meeting one lady bore testimony of how her son had a ball under his tongue and how the first doctor said it was cancer and she was scared. she prayed and knew everything would be alright and felt peace later she found out that it wasnt cancer only a ball that had to be taken out. its amazing to see how far she has come because when we got here she was inactive. and now she has been at church the last 2 months. she is an amazing lady. then there was the testimony of Brother Barron and he shared a testimony about how when we made our covenants we didnt agree to follow rules because we can jump the rules and find ways that they dont apply but we did say we would do our best to fallow the commandments. and then came after church. we ate carnitas with drunks that was a little wild, dont worry we were smart about it they live in our street and always ask us about our rules and what we do. they are our friends and respect our rules so we like to them. then we have carnival in our area not sure how to explain it other than marty graw and the boys dress up like girls underwear and all its crazy here right now and should be this way until tomorrow night. oh and we ate at kfc yesterday. it was a little tough because we went there and i looked at the hermana and said its sunday we shouldnt buy our food. she said well i dont have anything at home because i didnt have time to buy it yesterday. so we went in. i told her i didnt feel comfortable with it and that i wasnt going to eat and she got mad at me for not eating but i didnt feel good about it so i didnt. when we finished she said well i didnt know we couldnt buy food sundays so i wont do it anymore. it was tough but i dont regret it idk dad what do you think i should do in these situations?
i had a good day today we played soccer as a zone. and we went to wal mart. i am pretty happy with this p day. i hope you have a great week. you guys are awesome.

we killed a bird during a lunch.... no not really i died. but it was so funny they asked us to bless it before it died and we said sure do you want one of $500 or $2000 the second one is more powerful. they looked at us funny and we said we cant bless your bird. if it dies its gods time for it to leave. they accepted it and we had a good laugh. and the other is candies that iyari gave us for valentines day i didnt eat them. ha ha mexican candy with alcohol cant trick me now!
